Chef Thomas - Personal Chef Service

I specialize in private parties for 2-12 people, however I am open to discuss any plans you have. With classical chef training and a Culinary Nutrition degree, I demonstrated that healthy and nutritious food could taste as good as "old school" standards as the chef at the world famous Duke University Diet & Fitness Center where I developed menus in conjunction with Registered Dietitians as well as taught healthy cooking classes.  As such, I can customize menus to suit your dietary needs and highlight any occasion. I have an extensive knowledge of wines with certification from the prestigious German Wine School in Koblenz, Germany and the recently acquired title of "Certified Specialist of Wine" from the Society of Wine Educators.

I can also arrange for a "cooking class" for family or friends in your home.  We can work together on a theme such as fresh pasta dishes, homemade pizza, French classics, seafood - you name it!  I'll bring all the equipment and ingredients and walk through a recipe step by step.  You and your guests can sip some wine and observe or roll up your sleeves and put on an apron. 

The food I prepare is all natural and made from scratch.  I use locally grown produce whenever possible with preference for certified organic ingredients. Meats and seafood are raised humanely with no hormones or antibiotics added.  Best of all, I offer "no hassle" service for parties - I bring the food, cookware, china, silverware, napkins and glassware and take it all with me when I go. Your kitchen area will be left in the same condition as found. You do NO work - just sit back and enjoy a magnificent meal prepared just for you!
